Finally, we have returned to the home land. As great as it was travelling to a few countries and experiencing the ways of life of our fellow human beings (more or less like home, just with unnecessary languages and more cheese), I couldn’t feel more at rest knowing I’m home. But honestly, can you blame me? We speak English, we have better beer, we can buy Quarter Pounders and can watch the footy and look forward to seeing more than one goal in a game (and I’m a Richmond supporter!). It’s not like everything was horribly uncomfortable in Europe, however. Italy was quite a site with beautiful mountains, picturesque villages and people magnet attractions, one of their many faults. One of these little gems was our main stop. Venice is one of the places people picture when they think romance and magical getaways but they were all going to die anyways. What people should be seeing are survival opportunities for when the dead rise, and I’m here to rain on your rose shaded parade. Read More »
